Brand Review – More Drinks

I became aware of this brand at the BBC Good Food Eat Well Show last Sunday (read my post here). I can remember saying to Sam when I walked up to the stand ‘I never see the point in Vitamin drinks as they’re full of sugar’ and one of the men working at the stall overheard me ‘Not ours’ he said, ‘ZERO added sugar’. From this point I was hooked and honestly each flavour has a maximum of 0.5g of sugar which is only natural sugars, not like the 30g you’ll find in other ‘vitamin’ drinks.

The lovely people at More Drinks* have since sent me their range of Vitamin Drinks to share with my readers. They have five different flavours available, three sparkling and two still. Each one benefiting your health in a completely different way.

Get More Vitamin A – ‘supports healthy skin and vision’

This also helps you maintain the right amount of iron in the blood and contains 50% of you RDA for Vitamin A. This was my favourite out of the five flavours and I actually bought one to drink during the show. It must have been the show favourite also as these had sold out by the end of the weekend.

Get More B Vitamins – ‘helps your body release energy’

These vitamins help turn your food into energy whilst tackling tiredness and getting your metabolism going. This was another of my favourites as it tasted just like apple and blackcurrant squash just without the sugar and calories. This contains 100% of your RDA for B Vitamins.

Get More Vitamin C – ‘supports your immune system’

I’m not a massive fan of orange flavours but I can imagine people that are would love this one, there’s such a strong orange flavour. This is another from their range of sparkling drinks. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps you absorb iron. This contains a massive 200% of your RDA for Vitamin C.

Get More Vitamin D – ‘supports healthy bones’

This was another of my favourites due to the massive health benefits. A high amount of us aren’t getting anywhere near the RDA of Vitamin D as we’re almost always dependent on the sun to meet our allowance and that hasn’t made an appearance for a while! This 500ml bottle contains 200% of your RDA for Vitamin D as well as 15% of your Calcium RDA (something which I personally don’t get enough of).

Get More Multivitamins – ‘helps your body stay healthy’

This contains 100% of your RDA for B Vitamins and Vitamin C as well as 25% of your RDA for Magnesium and Zinc which helps you maintain healthy skin, hair and nails. This is the third from their sparkling range and tasted gorgeous.

These drinks are currently stocked in Asda, Tesco and WHSmith Travel Stores as well as Tesco, Asda and Ocado online and retail at around £1.45 a bottle, although they’re currently 2 for £2 at Tesco so this will give you a great chance to try their vast range of flavours. I’m so glad I discovered this brand and I’ll definitely be repurchasing once I’ve finished this selection.

Have you tried these drinks before? What did you think? What is your favourite flavour?

I hadn't until the show but I've been looking out for them now. I've still got four left but will buy more on my next shop!
