Recent Purchases – 3 Bargains I Couldn’t Resist

Ok so you probably weren’t expecting a Recent Purchases this month as I’m meant to be on a spending ban but I just couldn’t resist these three items. I’m currently on a spending ban as I have a shopping trip planned with my Mother on the 24th and I want to be able to buy anything that I like the look of, rather than being like ‘oh I love that, if only I hadn’t have bought… I could have bought it’. So I’ve basically vowed not to spend anything until our shopping trip. We’re going to Swindon McArthurGlen outlet which one one of my FAVOURITES. It’s full of high street outlet shops such as Body Shop, Yankee Candle, Next and Superdry rather than many other outlets full of shops you can only dream about purchasing from.

I’ve been looking for a new iPad case for ages and have always loved the look and the quality of Barbour cases but that quality and look comes with a hefty price tag, for an iPad case anyway. I was so happy to come across this gorgeous Julie Dodsworth for Barbour case in TKMaxx, I’m slightly in love with it already. TKMaxx tend to exaggerate on the ‘before’ prices as they stated this was reduced from £69.95 (it probably was once) down to £12.99, you can’t grumble at that price whatsoever. It’s such good quality! They are available to buy online for £35 at Outdoor and Country.

This shower cap was £1.59 including postage, surely it costs more than that just to send it? I needed a shower cap as I’ve been having a lot of baths recently and I hate getting all the soap etc from bubbles and fizz bars in my hair when it’s not a ‘wash day’ as the residue makes my hair look ridiculously greasy. Even when I tie my hair on the top of my hair I still manage to get it soaking wet somehow! Here’s the link to it on Amazon, it’s from China to it takes a while to come but it’s definitely worth it.

This was another absolute bargain at £1.18 shipped!! I’d seen it on the wish app a while ago but they’d soon sold out. I was amazed when I came across it on eBay about a month ago. Again this is shipped from China so it took a while to come, I’d actually forgotten I’d ordered it when it did. I thought this was a lovely ‘quirky’ piece of jewellery that would go with almost anything. The watch face is a world map and the strap is a leather style, I wasn’t expecting much for just over £1 but was amazed by the quality. I think for the sake of £1.18 this is a piece of jewellery that should be added to everyone’s collection. It comes in brown, black, white and leopard print. Here’s the link… let me know which one you choose if you do buy one!

I know right? I needed one for ages as I just had one of the Apple Smart Covers which wasn't protecting it very well. I'm so glad I found this one.

I think for the price you're crazy not to get it. It arrived a week ago and I've managed to make it go with every outfit since!

That's what I thought, I would have only regretted it if I didn't buy it as I desperately needed a new case.

It's definitely worth saving up for! 😉 There's so many other jewellery pieces on eBay I may have to purchase after my spending ban though, such good value for money.

I was getting so annoying with getting my hair wet in the bath so I had to get one! I've used it loads since and it's such good quality considering it was just £1.89.
