Foodies Festival is celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary at Clifton Downs with the Bristol Foodies Festival 26-28th June. And you can WIN a pair of tickets to celebrate with them. Thanks to the Foodies Festival team and Lanyard Media.
A few highlights of this years’ Bristol Foodies Festival include the Wine and Champagne Theatre. Guiding you though the best wines and champagnes for the season and the Craft Beer Theatre showcasing locally produced craft beers. The Tasting Theatre is also offering some interesting masterclasses including ‘Bee Keeping’ and a ‘Chocolate Safari’. The Cake and Bake Theatre is of particular interest to me and this year they’re offering workshops such as ‘3D Cake Modelling’ and ‘Sugar Craft’ which I’m going to try to get involved with. Along with everyone’s favourite, the Street Food Avenue a ‘feasting hub’ offering dishes from all around the globe.
There’s so much to join in with throughout the day including ‘Grill Challenges’ in the BBQ Arena. And a ‘Chilli Eating Competition’ for those who think they can handle it. I always think I’m good with hot foods but there’s no way I could handle some of the chillies consumed in this competition. Do you think you’re worthy of the ‘Chilli Eating Crown’?
There really is something for everyone, not just for the grown ups either. ‘Little foodies’ can make their own chocolate bugs and finger sandwiches. Along with Picnic in the Park masterclasses ran by Kiddy Cook in the Children’s Cookery Theatre.
