This haul happened the week the Kate Moss Nudes Lipsticks were released with Rimmel London and everyone was raving about them. Lipsticks are so hard to buy as I really don’t know which colours suit me. And you can’t exactly try them on in the shop. I went for one of the darkest shades (I’m useless and can’t remember which one). I couldn’t find another from this collection that I really liked (they were buy one get one half price) so I selected Rimmel’s Shade 210 ‘Coral In Gold’ as this will be perfect for my holiday next week, such a gorgeous colour.
The third lipstick I bought it a staple of mine and is just £1. It’s MUA’s Shade 11, a really dark nude. This suits my skin tone but it’s very pigmented so tends to ‘disappear’ after a couple of hours. Does anyone know a higher end lipstick in this exact shade? Please please let me know if you do.
This Sleek Contour Kit has been on my Amazon wishlist for years, that’s not exaggerating either, it’s literally been years. This has been recommended to me again and again so I thought it was time I bought it. I’m loyal to the brands that I love so I’m absolutely useless at trying new things (I’m getting much better now), I want one of their eye-shadow or blusher palettes next.
I am probably the LAST person in the blogging world to try Collection’s Lasting Perfection Concealer. I have heard so so much about this. Em Ford has mentioned it a few times on her channel as a go to for her and I’m always amazed by what she can do. I’ve got about 8 different concealers open at the moment so I’m trying to use some of these up before I open another one.
I couldn’t go into Superdrug and not pick up at least one BarryM Nail Polish; I’m sure you all know my addiction with them by now, I’m almost at 100. I love their polishes as they’re hard and long wearing. They do lovely colours and it’s such a big pot too. I picked up this blue glitter as I don’t have a blue glitter and this gorgeous colour that was in between blue and purple, I mentioned this one in a Manicure Monday post last month.
I’ve been using Benefit Brow Zings for years but it can be quite time consuming to apply. I thought I’d try an eyebrow pencil as they’re much better to apply when you don’t have much time to do your make-up. I bought this from Rimmel and went for dark brown as my eyebrows are almost black. I’m lucky that my eyebrows are so thick and dark though as I don’t usually apply any eyebrow products to work.
I mentioned Batiste Dry Shampoo in my July Empties Post (I do every month). But I said that I was getting fed up of looking grey and having to brush the powder out. I opted for the darkest brown one and I know I will never look back now. This is so much easier to use and it doesn’t matter if you leave a little in your roots as it’s well disguised. I’m going to stock up on these when they’re on offer.
Another hair product and the last in this haul is Got 2b Oil-licious Tame and Shine Styling Oil. I was actually looking for Moroccan Oil but was disappointed to see that Superdrug didn’t stock it. Well my local one didn’t anyway. I’m glad that they didn’t now though as it meant I found this much cheaper alternative. The results from this one are almost identical, I add a little to my hair after washing and it doesn’t leave your hair greasy whatsoever and adds a luxurious shine.
