Last weeks shopping trip didn’t start out amazingly. I went because I had to take my much loved Ted Baker handbag back because the handle had broken. I honestly didn’t think they’d do much about it and would just send me away telling me not to be so clumsy. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. They were more than apologetic for how the bag had worn and offered me way more than a refund. Who’s ready for a Ted Baker Haul?

This was the original bag I had and I absolutely loved it. This bag is no longer available on the website so I was really worried that they wouldn’t be able to replace it. However my luck was in and my local store had this very last one in the stock room and offered it to me as an exchange. I was more than happy with this and was ready to walk away. But then the fun began. They explained to me this bag was previously in the sale and they’d even reduce some more off for me as there was a few cosmetic marks due to it being ex-display. Much to my amazement they told me I had another £85 to spend in their store.

Ted Baker did (and currently still do) have an amazing sale on of up to 70% off so I was definitely able to get my £85’s worth.  As my regular readers know I’ve got a gorgeous French Bulldog, Milo, which is why I fell in love with the brand to begin with. I just had to pick up a few of their French Bulldog products. I’ve wanted one of their phone cases for a while but I often order them online and don’t like spending too much on them as I get bored and change them way to quickly. This one was reduced from £29 to £20.

I thought this would be great for my holiday make-up or mini cosmetics. It looks smaller in the picture but this is their larger cosmetic bag. This was usually £35 but was reduced to £15 in the sale.

This is one of my favourites from this selection. They do a few different sizes and I think these bags will be perfect for trips to the local shops to buy much needed milk, tea (or chocolate!). This bag was usually £29 which I don’t think it too bad at all anyway but was reduced to £15.

Lastly is this gorgeous handbag/clutch bag. It took my sooooo long to choose it. They had it in black also and each pattern on the 20 bags they had in stock were completely different. I felt some we’re too “busy” and some had loads of yellow flowers on which I wasn’t too keen on. I chose the pink/nude colour as I thought it would be perfect for the Spring/Summer season. This is a clutch style bag but it also has a over the shoulder strap.

I just want to say thank you again to Ted Baker again for their amazing customer service, I am so happy with my new products.

So how’s this for a Ted Baker Haul? What fabulous customer service!

After seeing Graze boxes advertised in almost every magazine I read, I thought I would give the Graze boxes a go. I’d asked a few people I knew that subscribed to them what they thought about the boxes and they all had very positive things to say so I thought “why not?”. I subscribed through Graze online so made an account online and went for their “Nibble Box” which comes with 4 snacks each time from a selection of more than 100 snacks. They also do a low calorie option so you can have just snacks that are under 150 calories. I went for the Nibble Box as I wanted to try as much as I could from their vast range. The Nibble Box is £3.99 per box and you can choose from receiving boxes a few times a week, weekly or fortnightly.

Immediately after signing up and ordering my first box I went through their online list of box contents and “slated” the snack options I knew I definitely wouldn’t like. This is a great feature of their website. After you receive the boxes you can “Rate or Slate” the products, so if you didn’t like it, they won’t send it to you again – ever. I wasn’t very good at taking photos of every box before I ate them but I remembered a few.

Graze Box

I was really excited when I got this first box through the post, I couldn’t wait to open it and see what was inside. It all looked so nice, the popping corn with black pepper was particularly yummy. And popular with the other half too. I was pleased to see I had an “Afternoon Infusion” tea bag in my box as regular readers will know I’m a big fan of Green/Fruit Teas and this one didn’t disappoint.

Graze Box

After highly “rating” their popcorn I was sent another flavour of their “Popping Corn”. This was a plainer “lightly salted” and although it was nice, it wasn’t as good and flavoursome as the black pepper one in the previous box. The “Apple Crumble” was thoroughly enjoyed by Sam and his Dad. As well as the Oatbakes – I didn’t get a chance to try those.

Graze Box

This “Sour Cream and Chive Crostini” is one of my favourite snacks I’ve had so far from Graze. It was really enjoyable and really filled me up as a mid afternoon snack. The “Dark Rocky Road” made me remember a “Jaffa Cake” snack I had in another box. I think it was Almond, Dark Chocolate, Orange Raisins and something else but together it tasted EXACTLY like Jaffa Cakes.

Graze Box

OK I definitely didn’t get Popping Corn in this box. I added it from another box to take the picture as I’d already eaten the fourth snack. But now I’ve realised it looks like I got Popping Corn in EVERY box -sorry. The “Jaffa Cake” flapjack is one of the most calorific products but it’s totally worth it. It was gorgeous, I shared it with Sam so I didn’t feel that naughty.

Graze Box

This is my most recent box. It came through my letterbox yesterday. Yet it’s already one of my favourites so far. I’ve got the “Black Pepper Popping Corn” which I’ve already have and I love. Then I had one of the “Graze Brownies” which I’m yet to try. And some chilli pumpkin/sunflower seeds and “Natures Immunity Nuts” which I had this morning. These were Brazil, Cashew and Pistachio Nuts. I thoroughly enjoyed  them and they kept me full until well after lunch.

Their boxes are so pretty too. I even used their Christmas one as a background for my Christmas Gift Guide shoot. So far I’m really happy with their boxes and have enjoyed trying their different snacks. I think I’m going to change my subscription to their Breakfast Box which is a range of Porridge and Granolas. I’m sure I’ll do a similar review on their “Breakfast Boxes” once I’ve tried a few.

Do you subscribe to Graze Boxes? Do you have a favourite product?

Having a bad morning, bad week, bad month? I promise these photos will put a smile on your face. I was out shopping last week and saw the most perfect Christmas Day outfit for Milo along with a gorgeous knitted red jumper so I thought I’d do a little Christmas photo shoot with Milo which resulted in some of the cutest puppy photos EVER. Just look at my little reindeer. I can’t get over how cute he looks!

This whole outfit was £7.99 from TK Maxx and the knitted jumper below was £9.99, you can’t go wrong with those prices. TK Maxx do some wonderful pet products. We’ve just bought Milo a new bed from there and we can never resist the adorable toys.

How wonderful are those little antlers?

I love this knitted jumper.

I also ordered this Christmas Hat online, I brought it in a small but Milo’s grown so much it almost doesn’t fit his head, I reckon he’ll just wear it for his Christmas Dinner (if he doesn’t manage to shake it off himself). What do I sounds like? Wear it for Christmas dinner? I told you Milo was human.

This last item is a little lion toy that I received in the post, there was no card with it so I’m not actually sure who sent it. Milo loves it though so thank you!

What do you think of this Christmas Photo Shoot with Milo? Such a cutie!

I’m starting to get really excited about Christmas now and was reading this Christmas Tag on Emma’s blog and thought I’d give it a go. I had a really magical Christmasy weekend with a traditional Victorian Market Friday night, then putting my Grandma’s decorations up Saturday and my Mother’s decorations up last night, I just was Christmas to hurry up now. Although I’m no way near ready for it and still have a lot of presents to buy. Just 16 days to go!

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie(s)?
It’s so hard to choose just one, I think my all time favourite is probably Elf or Love Actually, but then I love the traditional movies that they put on around the festive season especially About a Boy, Mary Poppins or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (I’m currently being moaned at by the other half as they don’t count unless they have Santa in them!!).

2. Do you open your present on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Christmas Morning, who opens their presents on Christmas Eve? Santa doesn’t come until Christmas Day so there wouldn’t be anything to open! We usually open our stocking presents first thing, then have a late breakfast, usually consisting of croissants then we open family presents before having a late Christmas dinner at around 3pm.

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
One Christmas memory in particular was about 12 years ago now, I think I was 10 or 11 and my brother had been given a robot that answered to voice commands, but all it said was ‘I do not compute’ as it didn’t recognise anything he was saying. My Great Aunt Kate who would have been about 90 at the time found it hilarious and kept saying ‘I do not compute’ to everything we asked her. This was the same Christmas she woke up underneath my metal bunk-bed (on a futon) thinking she was in Jail and asking us all what she’d done so wrong to be locked up. Christmases haven’t been the same without her.

4. Favourite festive food?
I don’t think I have a favourite food, I think it’s more the fact that you can eat everything you put your eyes on, whether it’s chocolate for breakfast or cheese as a midnight snack, who cares, it’s Christmas!

5. Favourite Christmas gift?
I think my most wanted gift was a Pink Nintendo DS when the first ones were released, I got an A4 pad of lined paper and had written ‘Pink Nintendogs DS Pack’ over and over again until the book was full, I think my mum got the idea! Another of my favourites was a Baby Born Doll that I pushed in a pram around the shopping centre until I was 12 (at least), I never realised how bad that must have looked.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
Definitely Cinnamon! I’m currently burning some Orange and Cinnamon Shearer Candles which smell amazing. Glade Spiced Apple and Cinnamon is another of my favourites.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
One of my Mother’s traditions is buying the turkey Christmas Eve; she still spends hours in the local Morrison’s store (which used to be Safeway) waiting for that perfect turkey to be reduced, luckily my brother and I used to (and still do!) stay home with my Grandma. Other than that, just chilling,  eating, watching movies and playing board games.

8. What tops your tree?
An Fairy that my brother and I have to put on the top of the tree at the exact same time whilst each holding a side, all hell would break loose if one side touched the tree before the other side did. This is still the tradition aged 19 and 21, he’s away at university this year so the fairy is sitting on the windowsill waiting until he comes home so she can go on the tree.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I had to text my Mother on this one because I couldn’t think of anything, she couldn’t think of anything wild or extravagant although she said I asked to Sylvanian Families year after year when I was far to old for them, and also asked for every dolly on the market. Did anyone have the dolly that actually cried? I used to make my parents look after it.

10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
My favourite part of Christmas, even as a child, was all my family being together and having fun! I used to love my Grandma coming to stay especially, she’d sit with us and play board games or make puzzles until we had to go to bed. She also let us decorate her, paint her face, dress her up, isn’t that what Grandma’s are for?

I’d love for you to send me your links if you join in with The Christmas Tag. I can’t wait to read your posts.

It was my Grandma’s Birthday on Thursday which we celebrated on Sunday and Eat Your Photo kindly provided me with one of their personalised cakes. My Grandma absolutely loved it; although she hates having her photo taken. We celebrated at our local Marstons pub which is my Grandma’s favourite. She knows she’ll always be able to get a good steak there. I don’t think she’s ever ordered anything different. I love their Smokey Bean Chilli or the Vegetarian Burger. It’s getting the family together I love more than anything though.

Eat Your Photo Personalised Cakes

Grandma was so pleased with her cake.

Eat Your Photo’s Personalised Cakes can serve up to 18 people. I was so impressed with the size when it arrived. I’m almost certain it could serve more than 18 people. But then I suppose that depends on how hungry you are! And when it comes to cake, the answer to that is very. The ordering process was oh so simple. You had to select a cake [this is their Gift Cake] and choose a flavour between vanilla and chocolate. Once you’ve chosen the cake, you can then upload your photo, chose a personal message and voila. The cake is ready. The cake got to me the next day too which I was more than impressed with.

After having a browse on Eat Your Photo’s website I was pleased to find that not only to they do personalised cakes, they also do personalised cookies. Or even pizzas with a picture of your choice on – just imagine seeing your face on a pizza. I’m tempted to get one for my fiance’s birthday, how funny would that be?

Thanks Eat Your Photo, you really made my Grandma’s Birthday. I’d recommend these to anyone wanting to give their loved ones that personal gift they’ll always remember!

What do you think of Eat Your Photo’s Personalised Cakes? They’re fab aren’t they? I can’t wait to order another.

Until next time,
