Oh my, these OPI Quick Dry Drops have certainly changed my life! I’d heard about these and the Seche Vite Top Coat on Twitter and read about them on various blog posts. I thought it was about time I gave one a go for myself. I paint my nails at least once a week. Sometimes more or occasionally less if I’ve done gel nails but I waste so much of my life waiting for my nails to dry. I love painting them, but it’s the not being able to go to the loo for two hours after. Or sitting with your arms raised afraid to touch anything that always drives me crazy.
For this weeks nails I prepared my nails using my trusty No7 Nail and Cuticle Cream. I then used OPI Yodel Me On My Cell – how gorgeous is this colour? The shimmer is just perfect and the colour is so vibrant, I only used two coats for this effect which impressed me.
The OPI Quick Dry Drops* are absolutely amazing and so easy to use. After painting my nails with two coats of Yodel Me On My Cell* I used the pipette provided and put 1-2 drops on each nail. I only needed 1 drop for most of my nails but used 2 for my thumbs and longer nails. Sadly my nice long nails have nearly all broken, I should probably start filing them down before they get too long.
The OPI Quick Dry Drops spread over your nail and they’re dry to the touch within 60 seconds. And completely dry within 5 minutesl I did find that they’d still mark a little after 5 minutes so I left them for a further 5 minutes just in case, which did help them dry fully. I managed to carry out my entire evening skincare routine within just 10 minutes of painting my nails. They were still perfect afterwards. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try them!
These are £13.50 and available from www.nailpolish.co.uk, they’ve also got the gorgeous Yodel Me On My Cell on offer for just £6.95 along with many other OPI colours. OPI for £6.95, you really can’t go wrong, free next day delivery too!
