My weight fluctuates quite a bit. I go through stages of eating really healthily and loosing weight and then I’ll spend a week eating whatever I want whenever I want and put it all back on again. I never put on drastic amounts but I’d love to be able to maintain a healthy diet with the occasional ‘naughty’ treat. Whether I’m dieting or not, snacking is always a problem for me. Whether it be at my desk or in bed with a movie. Which is where I’m hoping Slissie will help me.
Slissie is a weight loss aid to help you lose weight and keep it off by replacing snacking with Slissie. Slissie helps to change your eating behaviours/habits. By taking the 21 day challenge Slissie can help to put a stop to snacking altogether. The Slissie Starter Kit* retails at £39.99 and comes with the rechargeable device, a USB lead and two refill tanks Fruit and Mint. Slissie have also started doing a Chocolate refill tank which I can imagine being very popular.
When I received my Slissie I wanted to start my 21 day challenge right away so I popped it on charge using the USB lead provided. I was impressed that it took under and hour to be fully charged and a full charge lasts ages. I’m sure I only charged it once or twice throughout the three weeks which means that it’s almost always charged and ready for you when you need it, I kept mine in my handbag.
Once your Slissie is charged, it’s ready to go. To use it you need to heat the liquid by pressing and holding down the button for 3-4 seconds then release for 2-3 seconds then suck. It is important to just suck rather than inhale the liquid. It’s not dangerous to inhale but it ‘has a drying effect on your throat so may make you thirsty’. If you like a stronger taste you can create a vapour by holding the switch and sucking at the same time. When you start to get a burnt taste this means that you need to change the tank. Each tank will last 250 sucks so around 7-10 days on average. But I only used one tank in the three weeks.
I was so impressed with how quick and easy Slissie was to use. It was always in my handbag so whenever I felt like snacking Slissie was there for me. I started with the Mint flavoured tank and I think this was my favourite. The Fruit flavour was nice too but the Mint had a lovely flavour as well as giving you fresh breath at the same time. When I first started using my Slissie I was reaching for it multiple times a day but by the end of the three weeks there was some days that I wasn’t reaching for it at all. Which shows that it really has helped change my eating habits.
I used Slissie along with a healthy diet. I was meant to be exercising too. But I only managed two or three workouts over the three weeks. After the three weeks I had lost 9lbs which I was so pleased with. And I’ve completely changed my behaviours towards food. I haven’t been using my Slissie this week but I haven’t snacked whatsoever and I feel so much better for it.
Thank you Slissie for helping me change my habits. I would really recommend this to anyone that is trying to lose weight but can’t resist snacking.
Have you tried Slissie before? I’d love to hear your results if you have or if you do after reading this.
Until next time,
